Joanne May began her watercolor and calligraphy journey with a simple $.99 set of children's watercolors to paint homemade greeting cards. She is now painting full-scale landscapes, florals, and abstracts, and has donated some of her art to aid missions in the Dominican Republic, as well as to other causes. An educator and musician by training, May has incorporated her love of music into many of her paintings.
